How We Source & Verify Information
This page explains how the CM Punjab Scheme Portal team researches, fact-checks, and maintains the accuracy of the government scheme information published on this website.
.gov.pk portal.Our Sources
All scheme information published on this site is sourced from publicly available government resources. Our primary sources include:
- Official Punjab Government portals — e.g., punjab.gov.pk, scheme-specific .gov.pk domains
- Government gazette notifications — official orders and circulars published by relevant departments
- Press releases and official social media — verified government accounts on Twitter/X, Facebook, and official YouTube channels
- Pakistan Bureau of Statistics and PITB data — for statistical context and verification
- Established news reporting — major Pakistani news outlets reporting on scheme announcements (Dawn, The News, Geo News, Express Tribune)
Verification Process
- Source identification: We identify the official government portal or gazette notification for each scheme.
- Cross-referencing: Key details (eligibility, amounts, deadlines) are cross-checked against at least two independent sources before publication.
- Official link verification: Every scheme page must include a working link to the official government source. Pages without a verifiable source are marked as “unverified” or unpublished.
- Regular review: Published pages are periodically reviewed for accuracy. The “Updated” date on each page reflects the last time the information was independently verified.
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not process applications or collect personal data (CNIC, bank details, etc.) for any government scheme.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of any information — government schemes can change at any time, and our site may not reflect the very latest updates.
- We do not fabricate eligibility criteria, deadlines, benefit amounts, or contact details. If we cannot verify a detail, we say so explicitly and link to the official source.
- We do not have any inside knowledge or special access to government databases or decision-making processes.
Corrections & Feedback
We take accuracy seriously. If you find incorrect, outdated, or misleading information on any page:
- Use the comment/feedback section on each scheme page to report errors directly.
- Email us at info@cmpunjabscheme.site with the page URL and a description of the issue.
Corrections are reviewed and applied as quickly as possible. Material corrections will be noted in the page’s update history.
