CM Punjab Scheme For Women 2026

The Punjab Women Development Department (WDD) plays a central role in promoting women empowerment, gender equality, and social protection across Punjab, Pakistan. After the 18th Constitutional Amendment, provincial governments gained more autonomy, leading to the establishment of WDD in 2012.

Since then, the department has introduced multiple initiatives to ensure:

  • Financial and social support for women
  • Equal access to justice
  • Protection against gender-based violence
  • Economic and skill development opportunities
