This is a flagship agricultural initiative by the Punjab Government designed to accelerate the adoption of modern, high-efficiency farming equipment across the province. The program targets three groups: individual farmers, registered agricultural service providers, and entrepreneurs all of whom can access financing for 12 categories of approved local and imported machinery. The core problem it solves is real and well-documented. Delayed harvesting, inefficient threshing, overdependence on manual labor, and post-harvest losses cost Punjab's farmers billions every year. Modern machinery addresses all of these but only if farmers can access it. This program removes the financial barrier entirely by making the loan completely interest-free and repayable over a generous five-year period.
