Children Heart Surgery Program (CHSP) 2026 – Free Heart Operations for Children in Punjab

The initiative aims to:

• Save lives of children suffering from heart diseases
• Reduce waiting time in government hospitals
• Increase surgical capacity across Punjab
• Provide relief to low-income families

Many families search for “dil ka operation” or “dil ka hospital”, and this program ensures that such treatments are now completely free.

In the first phase, treatment is available in:

• Lahore
• Multan
• Rawalpindi

Both government and private hospitals are included. If public hospitals are full, patients are shifted to private hospitals at no cost.

Free heart surgeries (open-heart & advanced procedures)

The program is supported by a modern system developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board.
