What is Punjab Chief Minister’s Special Initiative for Cancer Patients?

The Punjab CM Cancer Patients Program is a government-funded healthcare initiative designed to remove the financial burden of expensive cancer treatment from patients and families.

Through the Special Initiative Card, eligible patients can receive treatment from empaneled public and private hospitals without paying major treatment costs themselves. The government directly covers approved medical expenses under the scheme.

The initiative is part of Punjab’s broader healthcare reforms that also include programs for cardiac patients and specialized medical support schemes.

Important: Applicants must ensure their CNIC is not expired before applying. Verify your CNIC status at nadra.gov.pk before submitting your application.
